Linda recently
finished producing a track for Grant Peeples' new CD. The song is entitled "The
Late Will Solburg Blues" - a tribute that Grant wrote honoring the memory of William
Solburg who was killed by a drunk driver in 2005.
William was a life-long friend of Linda's from Tallahassee who she knew since she
was in 1st grade. Willie, as he was fondly known, was also very influential in helping
Linda return to North Florida. He and his brother, Walter, owned the Possum Tracks
Studio in Sopchoppy, FL where Linda recorded some vocals for "One Woman Life".
She also helped set up the recording sessions for Tom T. Hall's Mercury Records CD
"Songs from Sopchoppy" recorded there in 1995. Walter, or
"Snorrii" (a family nickname), still runs the Possum Tracks Studio.
