flight back from my mother's funeral in April 1993 I was contemplating the worth of
a person's life and the equation just came up out of my heart. I shared this chorus
and another story about a chance meeting with one of my old "famous"
friends in the music biz with John Ims and we came up with this song.

time) in January 1980. Before then I was a heavy drinker. One of my friends and
drinking buddies was Dean Dillon. One night Dean came over to my house very drunk
-banging on the door.....wanting to write a drinking song. "You write the greatest
drinking songs" I recall him saying. But I didn't want to write a drinking song
since I'd quit drinking, so I said "Let's compromise and write a love song about
liquor." And "Tennessee Whiskey" was the result. Then David cut
it. Then George cut it. Now I've cut it.

this at his ranch (studio) in LA in 1972 when I was playing guitar on an album he was
producing on Garland Frady for Countryside/Elektra Records.
Michael also introduced me to Russ Miller and Jac Holzman and was most
instrumental in me getting my first record deal. I recorded "I'VE NEVER LOVED ANYONE
MORE" on my first Elektra album "Music Is Your Mistress" in 1973.This song
was a hit for Lynn Anderson in 1976 and has been recorded by B.J. Thomas, Marty Robbins,
Eddy Arnold, Julie Andrews, Billie Jo Spears, Johnny Rodriguez, The Four Freshmen and many
others.
This is a new recording and is recorded the way I always wanted to cut it.

about the little town and area I live in. Written in 2002. I grew up in Tallahassee,
FL. We used have a place down here on the coast at Alligator Point when I was a
little girl. That's where the cover photo was taken. I decided to move
back down around here in 1999. Panacea means "cure-all". It's Old Florida
--the real FLA.

first publishing and production deal in 1986 when he first moved to Nashville. He
wrote a lot of this then. Years later, after sitting idle in my catalog, I made a
significant re-write on it and decided to record it. I worked with Phil back then
for about a year and a half until I was too sick with leukemia to work any longer in
the music business.

Vocal: Linda HargroveThis was originally inspired
by a news soundbyte of Dr. Martin Luther King's speech "I Have A Dream" I
heard it and thought "I still have a dream......",too. The rest of the song
pretty much wrote itself. The guitar player and bass player are a couple of local
guys -- a father and son...Bill Gay and his son, Eddie Gooden. I had just written it
when they came down to the Bay one day to see me and we started fooling around with
it.
